My Summer

Oh where do I begin with my summer..? My summer consisted of mainly two things, working my 3rd year at The Hockey Development Center (HDC) and playing Amateur baseball (townball) for the Hampton Cardinals. At work I got to meet a bunch of local Pro hockey players in the NHL like Zach Parise and his brother Jordan, Stafford, Jonathan Toews... etc. I was very fortunate to work under the supervision of the ex-Minnesota Wild strength and conditioning coach Kirk Olsen. Baseball was a huge shocker being it was a rebuilding year for us. I played every game at second base and helped the team to the State Tournament in Gaylord and Arlington, MN. We unfortunately lost in the second round of the Tourney but it was a great experience and we are making another run at it next year!

It's good to be back tho!!

My Summer

Hey guys!

This summer I worked as a nanny for two little girls (ages 3 and 6). It was a blast! We spent our days at the beach, playgrounds and occasionally at the zoo! While I wasn't at work I spent time with friends from high school. It was great to see and spend time with them again!

Hope you all enjoyed your summer! Welcome back :)

Hi everyone!

Hi there! I'm learning how to use blogs in Information Literacy! The hardest part is being able to type with my big paws. My summer was sooooo quiet! I'm glad the students are back!

My Summer

Hey there everyone!

I had a pretty good summer. It seemed like it went by really fast. I worked at the City of Prior Lake which went pretty well. I enjoyed seeing some close friends as well as hanging out with the family. Good luck to all this year and I look forward to seeing everyone.

P.S. I miss Joe Kuech

Summer

Hello again,
I just copy and pasted my e mail that i sent to everyone. I have figured out how to now use the blog. Disregard the first sentence of my post. I had a great summer though.

Hello everyone,
I too can not seem to figure out how to post on this blog.
My summer was just a ball of fire. I worked in the Gustavus Custodial Department and
cleaned floors and rooms all summer. I visited Mr. Joe Kuech a couple of times at the
the glorious Blue Earth Wal*Mart. If no one has ever been, then let me tell you it is a
trip worth making. It is one of only two non super center Wal*Marts in the whole United
States. Ok back to summer. I made a wonderful trip to Canada this summer and went cliff
jumping, and also attended the the second best Giant Days celebration in the state of
Minnesota. That was the highlight of my summer.

summer...

Hey all,
Like many of you, my summer flew by much too quickly! I was a substitute teacher at a Headstart Migrant program this summer but ended up working at home for my dad. I also spent a ton of time at our cabin with my family and friends jet skiing and experimenting with a kite tube - renamed The Tube of Death! Overall it was a great summer; it's hard to come back for school, but will be fun to see everyone again!
